Meet Ollie Marland, the 22 year old cheeky chappy from Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom.
Ollie is a natural born performer who loves to entertain a crowd. His stage presence & charm along with soothing vocals are an ever-occurring trait in every performance he gives. You will have had an amazing time at any gig or function where Ollie has performed - no doubt leaving you with no voice and sore feet!
His career as a Singer/Songwriter started after he began to post Youtube videos - performing cover’s from his bedroom online. He suddenly started to pick up thousands of views and fans from around the world. After a few months of doing local gigs and shows Crown Talent (one of the UK's biggest management companies) contacted Ollie.
After signing to Crown Talent, Ollie’s journey started: performing at huge festivals around the country (including Fusion Festival, British Summer Time and Chester Rocks to name but a few), in front of tens of thousands of people. While working with some of the best songwriters and producers in the business (including Fraser T Smith, Ed Drewett, Maegen Cottone and James Newman). Ollie then travelled to work in various cities around the globe including New York, LA, Stockholm and Copenhagen to work with song-writers such as Quiz & Larossi, Cutfather and Nate Parker. From there on he went on to support Union J and McBusted on their UK Arena tours, while also performing along side Jessie J, Pitbull, and Ne-Yo at various Festivals.
After signing to Epic record label (a division of Sony Music), the deal fell through following the departure of Ollie’s head of label. Ollie and his team had to go back to the drawing board. After a lot of persuading, Ollie appeared on the 12th series of the UK version of The XFactor where he got through to the 6 Chair Challenge: earning a seat to then later have it removed by his mentor Nick Grimshaw. From the show Ollie continued to write songs and has had songs out in the UK, Japan and Denmark with other artists. Ollie continues to write songs and perform, bringing joy and fun to the public.
